AlanPEARSPeebles Peacefully at his home in Peebles on 3rd January 2017, Alan Pears. Dear husband of Muriel, devoted father of Carol and Linda, good friend of sons-in-law David and Gregor and most loving and beloved grandad of Martin, Anne, Rachel and Faye. Alan's life's work was with Gateshead's children with additional needs as a teacher, Head of Joicey Road School and later Education Adviser for Gateshead. He spent his happy retirement in Keswick and Peebles. Service in Borders Crematorium, Melrose, TD6 9HA, on Monday 16th January at 10am to which all friends are invited. Family flowers only please.
